Day 1Ho Chi Minh Arrival

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh – the largest city of Vietnam. Our driver and guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 2Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels (Breakfast/ Lunch)

Timeline

08:00AM: Your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. We will visit the following places of interest:
- Independence Palace (the Reunification Palace) was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace.
- War Remnants Museum which has a vast display of both the Indochina wars.
- Notre Dame Cathedral & Central Post Office the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times
- Jade Emperor Pagoda with the peaceful atmosphere &o many stories behind each detail of the pagoda.
After a few hours discovering the city, you will enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant before we drive about 1,5 hours through the pleasant countryside before arriving at Cu Chi.
- Upon arrival, you’ll watch a brief of propaganda video, which explains how the tunnels were used to successfully defeat American military forces in combat.
- The tour continues and the guide explains some traps that were placed in the jungles of Vietnam to either maim American soldiers or create panic amongst the ranks.
- From here, you can enter one of the tunnel entrances and crawl through the tunnels is a real experience to imagine how people could live there for an extended period!
- There is a shooting range where you can try to fire an automatic or semi-automatic weapon for a fee (this fee is not included)
- Take some rest at the end for a taste of Cu Chi boiled tapioca and thinking what humans are capable of when having to defend their home.
We drive back to Ho Chi Minh city and drop you to your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3Mekong Delta (Breakfast/ Lunch)

Timeline

08:00 AM: Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel, and drive 2,5 hours to Cai Be. We will stop along the way for refreshments and toilet. Here are some activities on the trip:
- Visit a flea market and cruise along a vast network of canals and channels of Mekong River.
- Have some fresh fruits and visit some local cottage industries (coconut candy workshop, snake wine, pop-rice, or rice paper)
- Visit an island named Tan Phong and a tropical fruit garden, listen to Vietnamese traditional music, and enjoy getting in touch with local life.
- Join a cooking demonstration and enjoy your wonderful lunch afterward.
- Take a cycling tour of about 30 minutes around the village -a fantastic way to experience local life.
Get back to the house, say goodbye to your hosts.
05:30 PM: Arrive Ho Chi Minh, be dropped off at your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4Ho Chi Minh – Fly To Da Nang (Breakfast)

At the good time this morning, you will be transferred to the airport for a short flight to Danang city. Upon arrival to Danang, our tour guide will pick you up and transfer to the hotel to check in. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5Ba Na Hills – Golden Bridge (Breakfast/ Lunch)

Timeline

09:00 AM: Be picked up at hotel in Da Nang. Transfer to Ba Na Hills (35km) and take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na Hills station. Stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, The Old Villas of French, the Golden Bridge…
Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Ninh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour. Buffet lunch will be severed at the restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will be free for joining games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with series of interesting games: 4 – 5D film, skiver, The death race, dinosaur park… (2 hours). Or discover Ba Na hills on your own.
03:00 PM: Back to the hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6Da Nang – Fly To Ha Noi (Breakfast)

Timeline

Free at your leisure until being transferred to the airport to take your domestic flight to Hanoi.
Once arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver to transfer to the hotel to check in. The balance of the day is at your leisure.

Day 7Day Trip To Bai Dinh – Trang An (Breakfast/ Lunch)

Timeline

08:30 AM: Depart to Bai Dinh pagoda and Trang An eco-tourism site. Have a short break en-route to free your legs.
10:30 – 11:00 AM: Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda – Southeast Asia’s largest Buddhist complex which consists of several temples and over 500 intricately carved statues of Buddha
12:30 PM: Then, you will have lunch in a restaurant with local special dishes.
01:30 PM: We will visit Trang An by a boat trip through cave chains and an exciting “Kong – Skull Island” film studio.
06:30 PM: You will be dropped at your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8Halong Bay Day Trip (Breakfast/ Lunch)

Timeline

08:30 AM: Pick up at the hotel and start 3.5-hour scenic – drive to Halong Bay.
12:00 PM: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor, and then embark a Day cruise followed by a short cruise briefing. Have lunch and cruise through the emerald water passing by the Dog Stone, the Burning Incense islet, stop at Ba Hang fishing village for kayaking or sit in a sampan boat rowed by locals.
Visit Fighting-Cock islet and the Heavenly Palace (Thien Cung) cave
Have tea break while enjoying local finger food and sunset in Halong Bay.
04:00PM: Back to the harbor. Disembark and get on the bus back to Hanoi.
07:30 PM: Drop off at your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!
